Peter Stein, dopo il successo de “Il Compleanno” di Harold Pinter nella scorsa stagione, dirige nuovamente la straordinaria compagnia mettendo in scena “Crisi di Nervi”, tre atti unici di Anton Cechov. Stein torna ad uno dei suoi autori di riferimento e crea una modalità produttiva artistica non consueta, coinvolgendo un gruppo di attori e collaboratori per una continuità creativa collettiva di notevole spessore. Gli atti unici di Cechov, scritti tra il 1884 e il 1891, sono stati rappresentati in tutto il mondo. Ispirati alla commedia francese e al vaudeville, molto popolari in Francia all’epoca di Cechov, sono stati fonte di ispirazione e studio per attori e scrittori di teatro e hanno divertito intere generazioni di spettatori di tutte le lingue.
