La mattina del 23 dicembre 1952, presso la caserma dei Carabinieri di Bellano, si presentò tal Americo Rigazzi, coltivatore diretto, per avvisare di aver subito un furto. Furto di capponi specificò il Rigazzi al Carabiniere Ausilio, "merce" particolarmente preziosa alla vigilia del Santo Natale.
È questo l'incipit del nuovo racconto di Andrea Vitali (2023), adattato dall’attore Francesco Pellicini - voce narrante al pari del pluripremiato scrittore bellanese - che ne assume altresì la regia proponendo una trasposizione teatrale - letteraria spassosa e illuminate, dai ritmi incalzanti, arricchita dalle canzoni del cantautore Max Peroni alla chitarra e dai sottofondi alla fisarmonica del maestro Fazio Armellini.
"Senza quei capponi a tavola - il vero sapore della festa! - non sembrerà nemmeno Natale"...
Con il sapore del Natale Andrea Vitali tratteggia sapientemente i personaggi di una provincia soltanto e in apparenza sorniona innalzandoli a protagonisti assoluti di un mondo pregno di umanità nel quale, a svolgersi, è la favola della vita.
